Delia Sanchez, Community Organizer

Delia has been a member and leader of EPOCA for two and a half years, and served twice on the Board of Directors before coming on as an organizer. She is gifted at both recruiting and one-to-one relationship building, and she is inspired by working to change the balance of power in the community. She worked previously for Inquilinos Boriquas en Acción in Boston's South End, prior to her CORI, and more recently for the Salvation Army as a house manager. Delia is 36 years old and Latina.

Steve O'Neill, Executive Director

Steve is a community organizer trained by the Industrial Areas Foundation in 1998 and by Salvadoran educators in 2004. He has worked for the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization, Long Island CAN, and the Massachusetts Senior Action Council. He is also a founding member of EPOCA. Steve graduated from Middlebury College in 1996 with High Honors in International Politics and Economics. He is 35 years old and Caucasian.
